The truth is that the slabs that your kitchen needs will be based on the design and measurement of you cabinets, edge thickness, window sill, waterfall and/or kitchen island, full back splash, 4" backsplash or no backsplash.
Example: When we installed these quartz countertops in this kitchen, we used only one slab of Carrara Grigio. (The size of this quartz slab is 127" x 64" )

When we installed these quartz countertops we fabricated and installed 3/4" thick countertops with 3/4" Eased edge. The thickness of the quartz selected for our customer was 3/4" (2cm).
This Quartz Countertops come in 2 thicknesses:
2cm (3/4")
3cm (1-1/4")
We can also add to your edge thickness:
2 cm (3/4") edge
3cm (1-1/4") edge
4 cm (1-1/2") edge
2" - 6" Mitered edge or thicker.
