Which is the best Pure White quartz countertops?
Updated: Nov 19, 2019
Today there are many quartz brands in the market. We would all may think that if you have decided to install Pure White quartz countertops for your kitchen or bathroom, the next step is super simple, just go to your countertops fabricator and ask for Pure White quartz for your countertops. It's super easy just to say you want Pure White Quartz countertops. But there are different varieties of shades of pure white.

In the photo on top we have different quartz brands of Pure White. From left to right I wrote the brand and the name of the color that brand uses for its pure white:
Zeal Quartz - Serie Valiant . Color: Bolivar VS301;
Silestone Quartz - color: White Zeus Extreme
Silestone Quartz - color: Iconic White
Cambria Quartz - color: White Cliff
Caesarstone Quartz - color: Pure White 1141
Ststone Quartz - color: Pure White ( is the counter where I take the picture).
We can observe the different shades of white in each samples. We have white white, off-white, beige white, warm white, bone white tones. In this group I try to place the most similar in their tones. But, still we can observe the different hue of white. What tone do you like more to install on your kitchen countertop?

Now in the photo above we have other brands of pure white quartz, which I am going to describe in the same way from left to right
Stone Mall Quartz - color: Pure White
Zeal Quartz - color: Double Diamod
Wilsonart Quartz - color: Serene
Pompeii Quartz - color: Pure White
Pompeii Quartz - color: Extra Extra White.
Here we have tones that go to a Cream White and tones that go to a Bluish or Gray White.

Here we have other shades of Pure White as options to install in your kitchen countertop. Now in this last picture left to right I have:
Corian Quartz - Color: Snow White
Natural Premium Quartz - color: Pure White
Compac - color: Absolut Blanc
Sequel Quartz - color: Naxos White
Sequel Quartz - color: Brilliant White
Now in this group we have bone white, rose white, bluish white and gray white. We must emphasize that they are all Pure White but they simply have different shades.
How to select the right White countertops to install in your kitchen?
The most important thing when you are making the decision of which White quartz tone is the one that suits you best, will depend, on my opinion, in the color of the cabinets. Well if we analyze the photos we can realize that the difference in tones is noticeable because we are compared White to White. For example, if the cabinets are White, you will probably want your countertop to look as close to the White as your cabinets.
Now if the cabinets are wood, brown, honey, blue, green or gray color, it will not be noticed if the White quartz has a beige tone or not.
My advice is that if you want to install white quartz on white cabinets, the day you visit your nearest countertops fabricator, take a sample of your cabinets with you, in that way you can choose the White color that looks more like your cabinets. Of course this is my advice because normally we fabricators have access to all the quartz brands that exist on the market.

Pure White Quartz is really Pure White?
Well, Pure White quartz is generally a 99% slab of Pure White.
Why 99%? Because the reality is that this quartz is made and manufactured in places where other quartz of other colors are made. Although there are very few Manufactories that have a specific area designated to make only Pure White quartz slabs. It is important to know that in the air, in the environment there are still small particles that will influence the existence on each slab, as something very normal, but very few small particles or small black pores will be found but very few displaced in the area of the whole slab, to the point that when you are fabricating the Pure White countertop that is 99.5% of solid White it is almost impossible to notice any point. In conclusion, yes, it is basically a solid white product. But yes, it is perfectly understood that regardless of the brand there is the possibility of having less or more dark spots displaced in the slab and that this is completely normal due to the way of elaboration and the level of purity that is required to manufacture this specific material.
