This is what the movement of the veins looks in a full slab of Cambria Skara Brae. The size of each slab is 130" x 65"
If you like thick, deep veins, Cambria Skara Brae is likely to be an excellent choice for your new kitchen countertops.
In this kitchen with white cabinets and hardwood floors, our client was looking for an attractive and eye-catching approach that was delicate and elegant at the same time.
The perimeter length of this kitchen countertops is 147", and since the slab is 132" long we placed the joint or seen in the center of the cooktop. And you can see in the picture of this kitchen countertops installation that the Cambria Skara Brae veins go with the movement. Giving a visual continuity of the veins of Cambria Skara Brae.
In this kitchen the sink connection is in the kitchen island. The island countertops is basically the fulls size of the slab of Cambria Skara Brae, and this is where you might wonder where I should make the sink cutout.
On this island the sink cut-out was made where is marked the green X, as you can see on the smaller veins the movement of that pair of veins is a lite short and less elegant than the other pair of veins. If you ask me for my advice on which one looks aesthetically better, I would say that for me you should definitely do the sink cut where those two little veins are. Which will ensure that you have a perfect optic when you are standing in the front of your kitchen, and it's going to look much more elegant and stunning. I ope this help you.
